Donky es mi burrito de peluche

Está a mi lado toda la noche

Pequeño y suave sobre mi cama

Me espera siempre bajo las sábanas.

 

Allí lo pongo bien abrigado

Junto al osito y al hombre ara

Pasan el día inventando cuentos

Y cuando llego leemos juntos.

 

Donky está un poco gastado

Flaco, torcido y algo pelado

Pero es muy tierno y hermoso mi burrito

Lo quiero tanto por ser mi amigo.

 

Amuleto, mascota, juguete fiel

En toda mi infancia presente estás

Y cuando sea grande no te dejaré

Porque en mi maleta siempre te llevaré.

 DONKY, MY LITTLE DONKEY

 

 Donky is my stuffed donkey

 He is by my side all night

 He is small and soft on my bed

 He always waits for me under the sheets.

 

 I keep him warm there

 Next to the bear and the spider man

 They spend the days inventing stories

 And when I arrive we read together.

 

 Donky is a little worn

 Skinny, distorted and almost peeled

 But my donkey is very tender and beautiful

 I love him so much because he is my friend.

 

 Amulet, pet, faithfull toy

 You are always present in my childhood

 But when I am  an adult I will not leave you

 Because in my suitcase I will alwais carry you
